Deena C. Bouknight has had a lifelong love affair with words, food, gardening, and cooking. She has been a journalist for 30 years, writing about a wide variety of topics - as well as two novels in which Southern food is practically a supporting character. She lives in the Carolinas and travels extensively, measuring the success of trips by the quality of the culinary experiences.
