Setenta Cinco

The Setenta Cinco is a fun riff on the classic French 75 and is a fun way to ring in the New Year or just unwind after a long day. For those looking to add a new tequila drink to their repertoire or anyone looking to give this misunderstood spirit another chance after one-too-many Cuervos (seriously, please stop doing that to yourselves!), this is a fantastic drink to start with.

From the Bartender: Citrus and sweet notes from the orange bitters come in strongly on the nose of this drink, rounded out excellently with the somewhat vegetal smoothness of the La Gritona. With the addition of Champagne (or Prosecco, really whatever is on hand) you get a bright effervescence that makes every sip a fun explosion of flavor that is good to the last drop. Warning: Drink at your own risk, I've never known anyone to just have one of these! —Grant McCloskey
