Edible Columbia is a print publication, published four (4) times a year, and distributed free to the public. From discussions on culinary trends to innovations in food production, tested food and drink recipes to gardening tips, our mission is to provide content that engages readers in supporting and sustaining our local farms, restaurants, purveyors and artisans. While many of our readers have been enthusiastic champions of good food for years, we aim to engage even more people in the process of cultivating and celebrating a sustainable regional food system. Food brings people together. Its what nourishes our body and soul, and what strengthens family and community bonds. Food creates health and local food creates a healthy local economy. In short, we love food. We love cooking it. We love growing it. And, of course, we love eating it too.

Janice and Jacquelyn, Publishers of Edible Columbia
JANICE MCHUGH, Publisher
After retiring from working 35 years in the healthcare industry, Janice looked for a way she could share her passion for food, cooking, gardening and reading - and began publishing Edible Columbia + Edible Charleston with her daughters.  When she isn't talking about wholesome food and how it relates to good health, she is cooking Greek food for her husband of 39 years, Ron Sr., and their two grandsons, Ashton and Avery.

JACQUELYN MCHUGH, Editor in Chief
Originally from South Florida, Jacquelyn has worked professionally in athletics, wellness, and education for over 15 years.  From athletic training, sport and clinical nutrition, and wellness coaching, Jacquelyn has a long history of helping people improve their health and compete at their top level.   As an advocate for good food, community wellness, and healthy eating in South Carolina, she found Edible Columbia as the perfect place to share her passion. When not cooking or eating, Jacquelyn spends time with her husband, chasing their two boys, enjoying the outdoors, and making the world a better place for them to live in.
ELIZABETH MCHUGH, Assistant Editor
Following the path of the McHugh women, Elizabeth jumped into the health and wellness arena focusing on behavior change.  She is a nationally board certified coach, receiving her health coaching certificate from the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy. She is currently living in Washington, D.C. with her German Shepherd, Frankie, earning an MPH at George Washington University, enjoying the city life and learning how to dress for four different seasons.
