Shell Royster

Shell Royster is an award winning food photographer, with a career spanning over 10 years in the photo industry.

She started as the Studio Manager of the prestigious Smashbox Studios in Los Angeles, followed by stints as a producer at Splashlight NYC. She then moved on to production and photo direction, and oversaw the digital photo production for Macys.com.

While art buying and producing a food photo shoot, her interest in photography was renewed; she went on to shoot a digital food campaign for that client, and never turned back.

Shell has a degree in art and studied photography at the world renowned International Center of Photography in New York City. When not prop shopping and scouring vintage markets, you can find her drinking white wine by her dock with her husband, and their Jack Russell Terrier I tow.
